  • Keep on the suggested time – Task 2 has more points possible than Task 1.
  • When you plan your essay, give a lot of time in the end to check your work.

For Speaking-It needs – flow, introspection, accent and confidence.

  • Always talk directly to the Examiner, not from the recording device.
  • Do not try to give a written speech, or talk about a topic that is asked to discuss.
  • Organize and link your thoughts and sentences, are speaking clearly at normal speeds and using a wide range of structures and glossary.
  • Remember that your ability to communicate effectively, not on your general knowledge, is being tested.
  • Whenever you answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for the examiner’s questions, then add more details in your reply. In each case, aim to explain your point clearly at least.
